Robert Livermore (1876-1959) was a mining engineer and executive. He was educated at Harvard (1900) and MIT (1903). He engaged in mining exploration throughout the western United States, Canada, and Mexico. He was vice-president, and later president, of the Smuggler Union Mining Company, which operated the Smuggler Union Mine near Telluride, Colorado, until its closure in 1928.
